Nice hotel with excellent wi-fi, free parking, and a cozy bar lounge. The staff took great care of my elderly parents during my first visit. I always feel welcomed here for my city trips.

Scenic views from rooms, Proximity to multiple golf courses, Charming design and comfortable decor
Could really use better maintenance of common areas!!! A touch more attention to noise disturbances within the hotel could improve the overall comfort level during both busy and quiet periods!!!

The Lodge offered stunning views of the Firth of Forth, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. The friendly staff were attentive and made my stay very comfortable, which I truly appreciated as a senior traveler.
More comfortable pillows would improve the experience.

Scenic views overlooking Craigielaw Golf Course create a memorable backdrop for any stay. The rooms feature stylish decor, spacious layouts, and luxurious rainfall showers, making for a comfortable retreat after a long day on the greens.
The breakfast experience fluctuated significantly. one morning, the buffet lacked warmth, leading to quickly cooled food, while the following day, a menu option presented a much better dining experience. the mattress in my room felt worn, leaving an uncomfortable seam in the middle where two beds were pushed together—just a small tweak could enhance the sleep experience immensely.

Had a great stay with friends! The views were stunning, especially from our room overlooking the golf course. We also checked out nearby attractions and had a fun time exploring. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable, including a hearty breakfast that prepared us for the day. Perfect spot for a golf trip!
The evening restaurant food was a bit of a letdown. One of our group ordered a dish that wasn’t what they expected, which dampened the dining experience.

The views from The Lodge are stunning, overlooking the golf course and Firth of Forth. The room I stayed in was spacious, with a modern touch that made it feel comfortable. I appreciated the cleanliness and the friendly staff who were eager to help. The food exceeded my expectations, especially dinner. I had the beef with roast potatoes, absolutely delicious! Breakfast was of high quality, though it could have been hotter. One downside was the pillows, which were quite uncomfortable and need replacing. the bathroom cleanliness could improve, especially around the shower area where I noticed some dirt. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times too. Despite these issues, the location is excellent for golfers and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it a worthwhile stay overall.

I had a lovely time enjoying a cozy evening by the fireplace and indulging in a fantastic breakfast spread each morning. The sauna was a great place to unwind while the garden area offered peaceful vibes to relax. Though the coffee could’ve been a bit better, it didn't take away from my overall experience! 😄

We had a wonderful time at this lovely retreat! The spacious family room was perfect for us, and my teenagers enjoyed the nearby golf course. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, especially during breakfast, where we had great options to start our day.
My kids wished there were more entertainment options nearby for teens.

The location offers stunning coastal views that are easily appreciated from many of the hotel windows. The sizeable rooms provide ample space for relaxation, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies making it easy to unwind after a long day on the course.
The breakfast selection left something to be desired, with a limited number of options that often weren't fresh or fully stocked. Some facilities felt dated, including the condition of the mattresses which were quite soft and uncomfortable, making a good night's sleep elusive. The absence of a fridge in the rooms was notable, particularly for those considering a longer stay, which might necessitate some cold drinks. the decor appeared worn, giving off a tired overall vibe throughout the common areas.
